2018 George Bush Presidential Library and Museum Art and Essay Contests offer STEAM opportunities

Both contests are aligned to the temporary exhibit, Leonardo da Vinci: Machines in Motion (online http://evergreenexhibitions.com/exhibits/machines-in-motion/ ) and visit George H.W. Bush Museum, Feb. 12, 2018 - Jan. 6, 2019).  The 2018 Art and Essay Contests are aligned to the STEAM curriculum and scientific applications. 

The 2018 Contests call for original artwork from students in grades K-12 and essays from students in grades 4-12.  Entries for both the Art and Essay Contests will be accepted Wednesday, Feb. 28 and Thursday, March 1, 2018, from 2-7 p.m. at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum.  Mailed entries will need to be postmarked by March 2, 2018.

Young Spurs Writing Contest

The partnership of the Bush Library with the Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference and Big Thought gives students (9th grade - college sophomore) an opportunity to enter the Young Spurs Writing Contest.
