  • What will I see at the museum?

    The core exhibit space tells the story of the life and times of George H. W. Bush, 41st President of the United States. Family-friendly and educational exhibits guide visitors through an interactive tour of the museum. View replicas of President Bush's Camp David Office and White House Press Room, and receive a briefing on the Gulf War in the Situation Room.   • Is WiFi available?

    Yes, free WiFi is available throughout the library and museum.

  • Is there a cafe or restaurant at the Museum and Library?

    There is no cafe or restaurant at the museum, but there are many eating options nearby. Check out visitaggieland.com for a complete list of options.

  • Is the museum accessible?
    • The museum is accessible according to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
    • The museum is pleased to provide a limited number of complimentary wheelchairs to our guests who require assistance viewing our exhibits. Please inquire at the front desk when purchasing your ticket.
    • Videos within the museum are closed-captioned for the hearing impaired.
    • Only animals defined by the ADA as Service Animals are allowed into the museum; no pets please. 
    • Motorized scooters are allowed.
  • Is there a coat or luggage check?

    There are self-check coat racks for coats but nowhere to check luggage. Luggage, backpacks and carry-ons may not be checked at the Library.

  • Is there a lost and found?

    For lost and found, please inquire at the front desk.

  • What is security like?

    The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is a federal facility and weapons are not allowed in the building. All visitors entering the library and museum must pass through a security check with a metal detector. All bags will be x-rayed and possibly searched by security staff. Any weapons will be confiscated by security staff. This includes all guns, all knives, to include locking and non-locking blades, pocket knives of any length, or any other multipurpose tools, stun-guns, and any other items considered as less-than lethal weapons.

  • Are pets allowed in the building?
    • Only animals defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as Service Animals are allowed into the museum; no pets please.
