Chemistry Road Show by Dr. Jim Pennington

Join us to ignite imaginations and engage students using chemistry demonstrations with fire, explosions, weird polymers, and super cold materials! Dr. Jim Pennington will entertain students while he educates them through the Texas A&M Chemistry Road Show. 

These exciting displays will demonstrate to students how chemistry affects their lives every day. Chemistry contributes to medical education and is the foundation on which the human body functions. It is the key to life and the foundation for scientific research. President and Mrs. Bush have supported and encouraged medial research involving chemistry to find a cure for cancer.  

FREE. For all grades.

Col. Wayne Edwards is a comic poet who brings his humorous poetry to life. Through discussion of the three R's of rhyming verse - rhythm, repetition, and rhyme - he inspires interest in both reading and writing poetry. 

His humorous illustrations of poems engage and delight all ages. Join us for laughter and enjoyment of poetry!

Designed for grades 3-8 and adult learners of all ages, you can attend in-person or online! Register below for online reservations. The program is available by videoconference, live streaming or recording.
