25th Anniversary 9/11 Remembrance: Bush School of Government & Public Service

• 9:00 a.m. – Legacy of Red Bandana
• 9:05 a.m. – Col Mike Reilly, USMC Ret – At the Pentagon on 9/11
• 9:20 a.m. – Dr. Nathan Harness – On 61st Floor of Tower 2 on 9/11
• 9:40 a.m. – Dean John B. Sherman, Tribute to First Responders – Situation Room in the White House on 9/11

On Friday morning, 2,977 miniature flags will be displayed by the pond to honor each of the lives lost.

At 9:00 a.m., please join us in the Hagler Auditorium in the APCC for a special presentation featuring Dr. Nathan Harness, who was in Tower 2 on the morning of September 11th and Bush School professor Mike Reilly.

A gathering around the pond will follow, where Dean Sherman will share a few words, culminating in a moment of silence to honor the victims.

Throughout the week, we will feature videos and quotes from Bush School alumni who were students here on 9/11. We are in coordination to have Fire, UPD, and potentially EMS First Responders attend and have their vehicles potentially parked in the traffic circle in front of the Bush Library with lights on. Parking in that location will make the vehicles visible to the guests as they make their way from the APCC to the pond.

The first lady of Aggieland will also be in attendance to pay her respects to those we honor.
